Jig borers or just as the name implies, they were built to bore very accuate holes at very accuate locations. they were not built to handle the side loading that a vert mill is designed for. You can do the same thing in a vert mill as you can do in a jig bore but not with the precision. Could you explain why not so precise on a Vertical Mill?
