Below is the eligibility criteria for MHADA lottery scheme. An applicant must be 18 years of age or above. Any application in the name of a child would not be accepted. The applicant must hold a domicile certificate of 15 years in any part of Maharashtra.
The applicant should be at least 18 years of age. The applicant or any of his close blood relations (parents, minor children) or spouse should not own any other property (residential plot, house) or rent from the MHADA or from any other registered cooperative society in their name.
I want to purchase a Mhada flat alloyed to a mill worker under the Mhada mill worker lottery scheme. The flat is 6 years old. Earlier the mill worker's flat could not be sold for 10 years after allotment, but in August 2019, there are press articles about permission given to mill workers by Mhada to sell their 5 years old flat. I can't find a GR regarding this.
