There was also a Type A and a type D and they came in 6, 8 and 10 inch size. The B is designed to grind ear corn but will also grind shell corn or small grain.

This year I took my 1946 2n with a dellinger burr mill on a 3pt platform for some corn grinding demonstration. There's always some hit and miss engines grinding corn but not any tractors. I'm using a smaller size belt pulley and have a step down trans that slow the pto down to about the same speeds as a hit and miss engine.
